  • developing surgical robotics
  • verification & validation testing
  • automating a robot calibration system
  • system integration

a surgical robotics company based in San Mateo, California

previously, a Clinical Engineering Intern at

the world’s best children’s hospital based in Toronto, Canada

  • built and validated 3-axis automated spinal rod bending robot
  • reduced OR time by 15+ minutes ⏱
  • converted clinical motion needs into rigid-body control systems
  • worked with surgeons on architecture, requirements, tests, success criteria
  • cut cost from $15K → $5K while preserving accuracy

previously, a Transition-Surgery Researcher

at Women’s College Hospital

a world-renowned, fully ambulatory academic health sciences centre

  •  researched and built tools for transition surgery
  • created “So You’re Thinking of Vaginoplasty”
